Challenge

To develop a showroom that would create more foot traffic

To develop a showroom that would increase the closing rate

To develop a showroom that would present 5 GM brands

To blow away the competition on automotive row in Safat Kuwait

Strategy

To leverage the Alghanim family brand equity by having customer enter into a safe and trusted “Alghanim” space before engaging with he automotive brands

To transition between the welcoming “Alghanim” branded space and the automotive marques, the customer moves through a brand arch, tightening the ritual of entry

Large curved ceiling elements drop the hight of the spaces to reinforce a more intimate experience

A 100′ diameter visual ring communicates powerfully to the exterior, drawing attention and encouraging the customer to overcome threshold resistance

A visual openness had to be maintained, and to achieve this the design utilized semi-transparent glass “walls between the automotive marques, with each wall branded appropriatly

Results

20% increase in foot traffic

15% increase in the closing rate
